Flat Point Jacket (FPJ) bullets are actually FMJ bullets with a flat tip. These bullets are designed to improve the braking power of WFJ bullets. They are mainly suitable for revolver ammunition, but are also used in pistol ammunition. These are ammunition manufactured with a higher pressure than standard bullets of their caliber.
The final product has a faster output speed and greater penetration. Some pistols withstand the added stress of overpressurized ammunition quite well.
